Surf City: the heart of Topsail

Surf City is the busiest stretch of Topsail Island, with the most access points, restaurants, and shops nearby. Parking lots off Roland Ave and New River Inlet Rd are the most popular. The beach here is wide and perfect for families with a lot of gear.

North Topsail Beach: a little more room

Head north past the bridge and you will find longer stretches of beach with fewer crowds. Anderson Blvd has several access points. This area is a great pick for a quieter setup, especially mid-week.

Topsail Beach: the southern quietude

The southernmost stretch of the island stays quieter all summer. Access via Topsail Beach access points near Ward St. Narrower beach at some spots but worth it for the peaceful atmosphere. Great for couples and smaller groups.
